Arsenal’s January transfer window officially opens with just over a month to go. Arsenal are already plotting potential deals for Ajax, Inter Milan and AC Milan stars.

Arsenal sporting director Edu will be hard at work in the months ahead of the transfer window.

The Gunners have had a busy summer, welcoming Gabriel Jesus, Alexander Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira and more to the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners spent £120m over the summer and that spending shows no sign of slowing down in the future.

Arsenal have been linked with a number of players across Europe ahead of the window. With that in mind, Mirror Football brings you the latest transfer rumors and gossip from the Emirates Stadium in the last 24 hours.

Arsenal ‘in touch’ with Kudus
Currently, one of the stars of the World Cup, Ajax midfielder Mohammed Qudus is already in demand. The 22-year-old scored a brace in Ghana’s win over South Korea.

His performances for Eredivisie champions Ajax also caught the eye, leading to interest from the Emirates Stadium for his services. According to 90min, the Gunners have already made contact with Qudus’ current employers over a January move.

It remains to be seen whether these initial inquiries will turn into a real move, but Arsenal face competition for the midfielder from the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle.

Arsenal are reportedly interested in Hakan Calhanoglu

Arsenal told the price of Calhanoglu
Arsenal have said they will spend €30m (£25.9m) on Inter Milan’s Hakan Calhanoglu. According to Inter Live, the Gunners are interested in signing the Turkish midfielder, along with Premier League rivals Aston Villa.

Inter are not interested in selling him for a relatively high price, but are apparently considering an option to extend his stay at the San Siro beyond 2024.

Calhanoglu has scored three goals and provided five assists in all competitions this season for Inter, who joined from fierce rivals AC Milan in 2021.

Arsenal are making contact for Bennasser
The Gunners are also reportedly interested in signing Ismael Bennasser, one of Calhanoglu’s former team-mates, in order to stay at the San Siro. Like the Turkish creator, the 24-year-old has just a year-and-a-half left on his current deal with AC Milan and is keen on a move to the Gunners.

According to Italian Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsenal have made contact with the Serie A giants regarding his services.

The Gunners have been on the hunt for a midfielder for some time and Leicester starlet Jori Tielemans has been strongly linked with a future move.
