Chelsea have plenty of ground to make up just to make the top four in the Premier League and qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League, and management is not wasting any opportunity to give their new manager the best chance at turning things around.

New ownership has continued to invest heavily into the club during the January transfer window, adding PSV forward Noni Madueke after beating rivals Arsenal to 22-year-old Ukrainian Mykhailo Mudryk.

That’s seven new arrivals, adding to a list of some of the most coveted up-and-comers like Benoit Badiashile and Portuguese creator Joao Felix, whose red card on his debut cost him a three-match suspension.

The Sporting News brings you a full roundup of all the latest Chelsea transfer news.

New technical director Christopher Vivell has taken charge of the club’s player recruitment for the first time this winter. The Blues are reportedly attempting to operate “in stealth mode” this winter according to one report. But in addition to the big names below, there are notable rumors floating on the following players:

Everton midfielder Amadou Onana has rejected a move to Chelsea (Sacha Tavolieri)
Chelsea will sign France international Christopher Nkunku in the summer transfer window, RB Leipzig director Max Eberl has confirmed.
N’Golo Kante is in talks with Chelsea about extending his contract (Fabrizio Romano).

Chelsea closing in on Fernandez signing
Enzo Fernandez is set to be unveiled as a Chelsea player before transfer deadline, according to reports from several sources.

According to Sky Sports, the Argentina international is currently undergoing a medical with Blues staff and is set to board a flight to London for the official announcement shortly, with the transfer fee paid to Benfica set to be the player’s £105 million release clause.

Chelsea and the Portuguese club are racing to make sure the deal is confirmed before the 11pm deadline but Fernandez will arrive in London shortly for the official formalities, reports Fabrizio Romano.

Ziyech wants PSG move
Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech wants to join PSG with the two clubs racing to confirm a deal before transfer deadline, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Moroccan international, who has struggled to establish himself at Stamford Bridge, has received multiple offers but wants to move to the French capital.

Arsenal confirm Jorginho signing
In a surprise deadline day move, Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has joined Arsenal on a deal believed to be worth £12m.

The 31-year-old, who wear No.20 at the Emirates, has signed an 18-month deal with an option for a further 12 months.

Jorginho is expected to provide competition in central midfield alongside the likes of Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka.

Jorginho’s surprise move to Arsenal looks all but sealed after the midfielder was pictured in a Gunners’ shirt.

Arsenal have agreed a £12m deal for his transfer with the player set to sign an 18-month contract with the option of a further year.

It seems a medical has been passed and it’s a case of waiting for Arsenal to officially announce a deal.

Chelsea ready to go all in on Enzo Fernandez
Chelsea’s ambitions to sign Argentina World Cup star Enzo Fernandez collapsed earlier on in the transfer window, but Graham Potter’s primary midfield target could apparently still make the move to Stamford Bridge.

Widespread reports in England on January 30 indicated the Blues have readied a new delegation to hold further talks in Lisbon for the player. With personal terms already agreed, it’s now down to the clubs, and Chelsea are said to be prepared to match the value of Fernandez’s £106 million/$131 million release clause, with payments structured in installments.

Benfica coach Roger Schmidt previously insisted the midfielder would not be going anywhere in January, but Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth said to Give Me Sport: “The people I’m speaking to in Portugal who’ve got close links to Benfica, are telling me this one doesn’t feel over, simply because his head was turned so much earlier in the window.”

However, on January 30, transfer journalist Graeme Bailey claimed Chelsea have now agreed a £115m British record fee for Fernandez.

Despite his release clause being set at £105m, they have agreed to pay more in instalments to Benfica in order to secure his signature now.

Chelsea could hijack Liverpool’s Nunes plan
Chelsea could hijack Liverpool’s bid for Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes, according to the Daily Mail.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have earmarked Nunes as a transfer target to address their midfield concerns but look most likely to make the funds available to sign him in the summer.

However, they face tough competition from Chelsea, who already hijacked a late move for Arsenal-bound Mykhailo Mudryk this winter, and could contemplate doing the same with Nunes.

Chelsea sign PSV’s Noni Madueke
Chelsea have signed yet another attacking player.

As reported by The Athletic’s David Ornstein, the Blues agreed a deal with PSV for 20-year-old Noni Madueke. The fee is reportedly in the region of €35 million (£30m/$37.9m). He was officially announced on Friday, January 20 after arriving in London the day before to undergo a medical.

Madueke, a left-footed forward who plays on the right, was born in Barnet and was previously part of the youth teams at Crystal Palace and Tottenham. The England youth international has played 51 times for PSV in the Eredivisie, scoring 11 goals.

Blues exploring Moises Caicedo deal
A litany of Brighton Hove & Albion players are in the rumour mill this summer, and Chelsea are right in the thick of the links. It’s no surprise, as boss Graham Potter came over from Brighton and surely still has a good relationship with those at the club.

Having signed Mudryk, CBS journalist Ben Jacobs claims Chelsea are ‘actively exploring’ trying to sign Moises Caicedo. However, Brighton are playing hardball and would demand in excess of £75m to even consider selling him in January. Jacobs claims Chelsea are currently prepared to pay around the £65m mark.

“I hope he finishes the season with us, but it’s always difficult to be certain” Brighton boss De Zerbi said on January 20. “The best solution is that he finishes the season with us and for him, in the summer, it’s better then if he changes teams.”

Chelsea beat Arsenal to Mykhailo Mudryk
The Chelsea spending spree knows no limits with their latest addition of talented Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhailo Mudryk on a contract through 2030 (seven and a half seasons with an option for another season).

For weeks Mudryk was reportedly all but certain to sign for Arsenal, but Chelsea inserted themselves into the picture late and got the deal done by guaranteeing Shakhtar the €100 million fee (including add-ons) that the Ukrainian side wanted. It was a few million more than Arsenal had offered.

One point that has emerged about the deal is that the length of the contract and the installment set-up agreed with Shakhtar allows for the fee and related costs to be amortised, helping with Financial Fair Play rules.

€70m (£62m), with a further €30m (£26.5m) in add-ons
