Arsenal have added a number of players to their transfer list in the weeks before the January transfer window opens, and negotiations are already underway.

Arsenal already have a number of targets in mind for the January transfer window.

The Gunners have been linked with a number of players ahead of the window and look set to begin negotiations for a number of targets in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, a few of the current squad could leave sooner rather than later on loan or on a permanent basis.

Meanwhile, here’s the latest transfer news and rumors coming out of the Emirates Stadium as time runs out until the January transfer window.

Barcelona sign Arsenal’s Endric
Arsenal appear to be taking a step back from talks with Spanish giants Barcelona on their hopes of signing Brazilian prodigy Endric.

The Catalan giants have been interested in signing the Palmeiras star, with boss Xavi holding talks with the striker along with some of Europe’s biggest clubs and touring the Spanish club’s facilities.

However, according to Marca, Barcelona are not willing to invest heavily in a player who cannot play for the team until 2024. That could open the door for Arsenal and other interested parties.

Youri Tielemans remains interested in a move to Arsenal

Arsenal have ‘doubts’ over Tielemans
Barcelona appear to be close to deciding on a move for Endrik, but the same cannot be said for Arsenal’s long-term pursuit of Leicester star Youri Tielemans.

The Gunners have been interested in signing the Belgian for some time now, with his contract at the King Power Stadium set to expire next summer. However, as reported by CBS via Give Me Sport , the North Londoners are not entirely convinced.

They are yet to turn their initial interest into a formal offer for either Leicester or Tielemans, who are thought to be too different from current first-choice midfielder Thomas Partey.

Arsenal backed Marmoussi to move
Arsenal could be looking to sell Wolfsburg winger Omar Marmouche to the Bundesliga side in January.

The Egyptian’s contract at the VW Arena expired in the summer, and negotiations over new terms have stalled. Whether they will be reinstated remains to be seen, but Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung reports that Wolfsburg have already decided to sell.

Arsenal are reportedly interested in a deal with Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest.
