AS Roma coach Jose Mourinho always has unique behavior, one of which was done when AS Roma lost to Napoli with a score of 1-2.

The Italian League Serie A competition match was held at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, on Monday (30/1/2022).

Even though they lost, Jose Morinho asked all players and officials to take pictures together as if they had won the match.

All took pictures on the occasion but only Jose Mourinho seemed ‘excited’.

Meanwhile, the faces of players like Tammy Abraham, Dybala, Belotti, Rui Patricio looked flat.

Obviously there was no look of happiness on their faces because they had just suffered defeat.

In a press conference session Jose Mourinho claimed AS Roma suffered an “unfair” defeat to Serie A leaders Napoli.

But he saluted his team and the rival team he believed would win the Scudetto.

In that match, Victor Osimhen converted Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s cross in stunning style to give Napoli the lead in the 17th minute.

But AS Roma equalized in the 75th minute through Stephan El Shaarawy.

But Mourinho’s visitors could not hold on to a single point, with Giovanni Simeone firing the winner in the 86th minute when he received a short cross from Piotr Zielinski.

“From the first minute we played well. The team was always in control, we pressed really hard, we defended well,” Moirinho said after the match as quoted by FotMob.

“Napoli are suffering, we are the team that scares them the most. The stadium looks empty, and despite the negative results I leave here more confident.”

“Sometimes football isn’t fair, the team that deserved loses more. Sometimes we win undeservedly, tonight they [Roma] deserved to win.”

“I told the players that we have to be sad for the defeat, but we played well and see you on Wednesday at the Olimpico.” he replied.

AS Roma face Cremonese in midweek in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia.

“Today we saw Napoli are very good and have a winning mentality,” Mourinho told DAZN.

“I have won eight championships, I know what it means to have a shining star for you. The championship will definitely be theirs.” he said.

Mourinho sees much to admire in Napoli striker Osimhen, but warns the Nigerian striker will have to change his game if he goes to the Premier League.

“Osimhen is very strong, he is difficult to mark, he is a top player, but if he goes to England he has to change because they will kill him,” said Mourinho.

“A certain attitude is accepted in Italy.”

Meanwhile, Napoli boss Spalletti said determination was the key to his side’s success.

“It was a tough game and those who played did it with the right attitude,” said Spalletti.

His side’s advantage is the biggest of any team at this stage of the Serie A season since 1994-95, when the era of three points for victory began.

Osimhen’s opener was a special strike, with the striker controlling the ball on his chest, then touching down with his knee, before firing an unstoppable shot into the top right corner.

There are technical qualities, there is personality, said Spalletti.

“He is a physically strong player and it becomes difficult to get him.” he concluded. (*)
