Following their spectacular 2-1 victory at London Stadium on Sunday thanks to goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Jesse Lingard, as well as a last-minute penalty from David de Gea, the two sides will face each other again in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

The game is going to be at Old Trafford this time around and both teams will likely call for several changes to their starting squads, but hopefully it will be another exciting encounter.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already confirmed that Lingard will start the match.

“Of course he will play on Wednesday because we are going to be making some changes,” he said.

“It was pretty clear that he wants to fight for his place and be part of a United squad that he says is doing well. For me, I can’t speak for Jesse at the moment, but he’s really helping.
