Liverpool star Luis Diaz has scored a stunning goal for Colombia as they continue to battle for a spot at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Diaz was brought to Liverpool from FC Porto for an initial fee of £37.5m. The winger has since greatly impressed all competitions for the Reds.
And despite only being at the club a few months, it looks as though Diaz could be in line to replace one of Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah in the coming years.
The South American is fast, skilful, not afraid to run at defenders and is already adapting to Klopp’s system well.
Now, during his first international break since his move to England, Diaz has continued to shine for Colombia.
Colombia were in World Cup qualifying action late on Thursday evening vs Bolivia.
The game was a must-win for Diaz and co. who would come away with a 3-0 victory on the day. Luis Diaz would open the scoring after 39 minutes with the below stunning strike:

Will Colombia make it to Qatar?
The result moved Colombia to 6th in their World Cup qualifying group, one point behind Peru in 5th who are occupying the spot that sees one South American team advance to the inter-confederation play-offs.
As there is only one set of South American World Cup qualifying games left, Colombia – five points behind the top-four who automatically get a spot in Qatar – must finish in 5th if they are to have any chance of making it to the World Cup.
But as Peru are one point clear and are taking on a poor Paraguay side in their final game, it does not seem too likely.
