Record national player Lothar Matthäus trusts Thomas Tuchel to shape an era at Bayern Munich.

Due to Tuchel’s experience from previous positions – the 49-year-old most recently coached Chelsea and Paris St. Germain – he might cope better with “15 to 20 stars in a team, as is the case in Munich, than Julian Nagelsmann , who previously coached two training clubs, Hoffenheim and Leipzig,” explained Matthäus.

“Tuchel has now signed for two and a half years and I believe that he will have long-term success in Munich.”
