Man United fans convinced France have found Pogba’s perfect midfield partner
Supporters of Premier League outfit Manchester United have flooded to social media this evening, to react to the midfield partnership enjoyed by Paul Pogba during France’s showdown with Spain.
Mbappe makes the difference
Les Blues were of course back in action a short time ago.
After getting the better of Belgium in a final-4 clash during the week, Didier Deschamps’ men made the trip to the San Siro, for a Nations League finale meeting with the impressive Spain.
France headed into proceedings having secured for themselves the title of comeback kings of late, after bizarrely falling a goal behind in six of the country’s prior seven outings.
And, on Sunday night in Milan, a comeback was required once more.
On the back of a somewhat cagey opening 45 minutes, Spain opened the game’s scoring just beyond the hour mark, when Mikel Oyarzabal rifled home a pinpoint left-footed effort.
France, in turn, immediately sprung into life, to catch La Roja on their heels courtesy of a Karim Benzema stunner:
BENZEMA BOUNCES BACK 🔥
Watch as Oyarzabal puts Spain 1-0… only for Benzema to equal the scoring minutes after with a moment of brilliance! 😮

And the evening’s deciding goal was subsequently forthcoming fifteen minutes later, when Kylian Mbappe beat the offside trap, before displaying remarkable composure to slot beyond Unai Simon:

Reds Devils plea
Whilst supporters of Didier Deschamps’ World Cup holders, in turn, will no doubt carry their celebrations long into the night on Sunday, as outlined above, Les Bleus’ faithful were joined in keeping a close eye on developments at the San Siro by one specific set of club fans.
Those in question? The Manchester United faithful.
Those of a Red Devils persuasion tuned in to watch star midfielder Paul Pogba’s latest efforts to add to his trophy cabinet, and ultimately saw their wishes granted.
In taking in France’s latest display, though, United’s supporters were also treated to a glimpse of an impressive burgeoning partnership in the middle of the park.
In the absence of both N’Golo Kante and Adrien Rabiot, Pogba was this evening paired by boss Deschamps with the upcoming Aurelien Tchouameni.
And, based on the 90 minutes versus Spain, supporters have quickly come to the conclusion that the up-and-coming Monaco talent would mark the perfect partner for their star man at Old Trafford, too, with just some of the social media reaction showcased below:
Tchouameni is everything United need next to Pogba in that midfield

Paul Pogba needs to put “sign Tchouameni in January 2022” in his contract agreement with Man United.#MUFC #NationsLeagueFinal

Manchester United really need someone like Aurelien Tchouameni, great baller on and off the ball.
