Manchester United are among a duo of Premier League sides interested in a move for Atletico Madrid’s Yannick Carrasco.

It is suggested by AS that the Belgian’s £51m price tag has made him a desirable signing for clubs, with the Red Devils emerging as potential suitors. Chelsea have also explored the option of signing him.

It is further reported that the winger is not interested in leaving Atletico Madrid though.

Manchester United embark on their pre-season tour on July 8 – with new boss Erik ten Hag no closer to knowing the make-up of his travelling squad.

Ten Hag wanted the bulk of his signings made before United left for the two-and-a-half-week tour of Thailand and Australia, to be able to integrate them into the existing squad. But with the first members of United’s squad back for pre-season training on Monday, when ten Hag will meet players face-to-face for the first time, the club are struggling to get deals done.

Goalkeeper Dean Henderson is on the verge of leaving Man United for Nottingham Forest.

According to The Athletic, the two clubs have agreed terms of his loan deal. He will apparently spend the season at the City Ground with Forest covering his wages in full.

Amid their search for a new centre-back, Man United have been credited with an interest in Inter Milan’s Stefan de Vrij.

According Corriere della Sera, the prospect of the Dutchman quitting Inter Milan this summer ‘cannot be ruled out’. It is detailed that United could potentially make a move as a cheaper alternative to the likes of Matthijs de Light.

Whilst United have been handed a hugle blow to their hopes of signing RB Leipzig star Nkunku, they also look unlikely to sign his teammate Konrad Laimer.

The Austrian has apparently rejected the offer of a new deal and is plotting a move away from the club. However, according to 90min, he has ambitions of a switch to Bayern Munich instead of Man United.

The Red Devils are reportedly set to step up their pursuit of Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong this summer with a renewed bid for his services.

According to the Manchester Evening News, United are expected to lodge an improved offer with the Catalan giants having seen their previous bid turned down.

It is further detailed that the club have alternative targets should they fail to secure the Dutchman.

Man United have been told that Ajax star Antony will cost them €70-80m this summer.

The Red Devils have been strongly linked with a move for the Brazilian this summer with boss Erik ten Hag understood to be a big fan. However, according to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, a deal will not be a cheap one by any stretch of the imagination.

Confirmation of the news we brought you earlier with Christopher Nkunku penning a new deal with German giants RB Leipzig.

His renewed contract runs until the summer of 2026. Speaking to the club’s official website, he said: “I’m happy to continue wearing the RB Leipzig shirt. After the great success in the DFB Cup, it was clear: my path doesn’t end here – we want more!

I was really impressed by how the club took care of me. So a big thank you to all those responsible for the trust and especially to Oliver Mintzlaff, with whom I was always in close contact. RB Leipzig has made a name for itself internationally in recent years and has repeatedly confirmed that we can play for titles. In the future we want to build on this and go one step further.”

The name most strongly associated with Man Utd this summer has been that of Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong.

However, it appears that the Dutchman isn’t overly enamoured on the prospect of switching to Old Trafford. According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, he has ‘serious doubts’ over joining the Red Devils.

Erik ten Hag remains keen to bolster his midfielder options ahead of the new campaign.

Manchester United are one of a number of clubs interested in signing Napoli star Fabian Ruiz this summer.

The Spanish midfielder is out of contract next summer and the Serie A outfit are keen to sell in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer. The Red Devils are joined by the likes of Newcastle, Arsenal and Manchester City in eyeing Ruiz according to Corriere dello Sport.

It is suggested that £26m would be enough to get a deal done.

According to Sky Italy, Juventus are ‘hopeful’ that they will agree the final details of Paul Pogba’s return to Turin within the next few hours.

The Frenchman has been linked with a switch back to his former club following his Old Trafford exit.

Man United have told Brandon Williams that he can leave the club this summer in a cut-price £10m deal.

The left-back spent last season on-loan at Norwich City but is set to return to Old Trafford following the Canaries’ relegation to the Championship. However, first-team football seems likely to be at a premium, with The Sun reporting that Williams has been told that he can leave the club.

Man United target Christopher Nkunku is reportedly set to sign a new contract with RB Leipzig.

According to German outlet Kicker, the new deal will see a €60m (£51.7m) release clause inserted after a stunning season. The Red Devils, as well as Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea have all been credited with an interest in the former Paris Saint-Germain star.

Manchester United want to sign Pau Torres from Villarreal this summer, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

But Tottenham are also said to be interested in the centre-back, 25.

Torres is believed to have a £52million release clause. Both Premier League clubs are reportedly hopeful of getting him for a cheaper transfer fee.

Patrice Evra admits his heart is “hurt” by Antonio Conte’s impressive impact at Spurs – instead of Manchester United.

The five-time Premier League winner, who also lifted three League Cups and the Champions League under Sir Alex Ferguson, played under Conte at Juventus.

He believes the Italian multiple title winner is on course to finally turn Spurs into a Premier League superpower.

“It hurts my heart,” he said. “Because I think Conte, Klopp, Guardiola – all those managers are the best in the world right now and we could have had him at Manchester United.

“But some people at the club, they said: ‘It’s not our style, it’s not what we’re looking for’.”

Manchester United transfer target Antony has been compared to Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar and Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr by Brazil boss Tite.

Erik ten Hag wants to reunite with the Ajax winger, 22, at Old Trafford and Red Devils chiefs are believed to be in negotiations over a potential deal.

Tite has given Antony a glowing review to boost United’s confidence, having been asked whether Neymar was still the ‘technical leader’ in his squad.

“Yes absolutely,” the Selecao manager replied. “Especially now, to share the professionalism with a series of athletes with his characteristic. Antony has that characteristic, Raphinha too, Vinicius, Rodrygo does, too.”

Manchester United are reportedly plotting an audacious move for the man behind so much of Liverpool ’s recent success, Michael Edwards.

In the last 12 months, the Red Devils have commenced a radical overhaul of their structure behind the scenes, amid their longest trophy drought in a generation. Former chief executive Ed Woodward has borne the brunt of United fans’ frustrations for the last decade, overseeing a period of decline at Old Trafford.

Woodward was said to have had a controlling hand in recruitment, with United wasting upwards of a billion pounds since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013. He has now left the club, with Richard Arnold taking his place as CEO, John Murtough appointed as the club’s first Football Director and Darren Fletcher named Technical Director

Manchester City are bidding to follow up on the signings of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez by adding Marc Cucurella to their star-studded squad.

Multiple reports claim that the Citizens have agreed personal terms with the 23-year-old defender, who enjoyed an outstanding season with Brighton & Hove Albion.

It’s another reminder to United that they need to get their transfer business started soon.

Manchester United are reportedly open to offers of just £20million for Anthony Martial – but accept even that fee may deter suitors.

Signed for an initial £36million from Monaco back in 2015, the Frenchman was expected to lead the line for United into a new era. But six years on from that signature with his career having plateaued, Old Trafford bosses are left scratching their heads on how best to recoup some of their outlay.

Erik ten Hag has insisted that every player will have a clean slate in the early months of his tenure and Martial will likely be given a chance to impress at Carrington. But that could be an opportunity of necessity as much as anything else, with the market for Martial narrow at best.

Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo could be offered the chance of a sensational return to Juventus after his agent Jorge Mendes reportedly offered the Portuguese back to the Italian giants.

The former Real Madrid forward only departed the Juventus Stadium last summer as he made an emotional return to Old Trafford. Despite a successful season from a personal point of view – Ronaldo having found the net on 24 occasions throughout the campaign – the Red Devils endured a thoroughly miserable time of things.

They could only stumble to a sixth-placed finish under the tutelage of Ralf Rangnick with the season being their worst in Premier League history from a points perspective. In the meantime, the forward himself has worries over the club’s lack of transfer business and could be set to pursue an exit should the situation fail to improve.

Derby County starlet Malcolm Ebiowei won’t be joining Manchester United, according to fresh reports.

The English winger, 18, is instead set to sign for Crystal Palace, having signed a five-year contract and completed a medical.

Benfica appear to have pipped Manchester United and Premier League colleagues Wolves to the signing of River Plate star Enzo Fernandez.

The Argentine midfielder, 21, had been linked with moves to both Old Trafford and Molinuex, but reports from Portugal, via Sport Witness, claim that Benfica have reached an agreement with River Plate for a deal worth £15.5 million with a 25 per cent sell-on clause.

Manchester United might still be able to sell Andreas Pereira to Flamengo this summer after an inital deal to turn his loan spell into a permanent stay collapsed.

The 26-year-old remains wanted by the Brazilian giants, as vice-president Marcos Braz told ESPN Brasil: “Three months ago it was widely reported that Flamengo had closed with Andreas. A month later they said that Flamengo had dropped Andreas. And that’s not it. Flamengo is still looking for an alternative for the player to stay here.

“It’s very difficult, a very complex situation. He is a young player, who has a lot of market, and from a financially powerful club. So when you go to discuss some terms, you have limits to advance on this topic, but Flamengo still works for the maintenance of the player’.”

It’s been a more frustrating start to life at Manchester United than new manager Erik ten Hag would have hoped for.

Many of his United squad return from pre-season next week, and the Dutchman would have ideally liked to have had at least a couple of new arrivals joining them, but that at present seems unlikely.

The club have of course identified several targets – including Barcelona ’s Frenkie de Jong – however it seems a deal for him and others are still some way off from being completed.

But while there are more questions than answers when it comes to potential incomings at the club, the plan in terms of outgoings does at least seem to be more clear.

Manchester United appear to be in pole position to sign Christian Eriksen thanks to Tottenham Hotspur’s decision to pull out of the race.

New Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag wants to make the 30-year-old his first signingamidst a difficult start to his maiden summer transfer window at Old Trafford. Last week, United have offered Eriksen a deal to leave Brentford when his contract with the Bees expires on June 30.

Ten Hag has now been handed a major boost in his efforts, as the Daily Star report that Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has backed down in his bid to reunite with the midfielder
