MOHAMED SALAH's contract expires in July 2023.

Mohamed Salah Liverpool’s future took another interesting turn after his agent Ramy Abbas Issa posted a mysterious tweet just an hour after Jürgen Klopp told a news conference that the club had done everything he could to convince him to stay.

Salah’s contract has been a hot topic for the past few months, and the flaming Egyptian winger will leave the club if his contract is not extended until its expiration in July 2023.

Of those 34 this season, 27 gave Liverpool hope to win it fourfold as they won the Carabao Cup last month amid continued hunting for the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup.

Liverpool have been negotiating with Salah for months, but the player has yet to agree or reject the new deal.

Klopp admitted that the club really wants Salah to stay with the club, but the situation is still unclear.

“Mo definitely expects this club to be ambitious,” Klopp said at a news conference on Friday.

“We were and we are. Does Luis Diaz’s confirmation help? I don’t think that’s the point.

“It’s Mo’s decision. The club did what it could. It’s all right.”

But just an hour later, Issa mysteriously responded to her Twitter with a tweet that was flooded with laughing emoticons.

Due to the timing of the tweet, Liverpool fans are sure to guess the future of their star attacker and many are unsure whether to sign again.

This isn’t the first time Salah’s agent has made a big splash with her mysterious posts on social media. Back in August, he sent a message to Liverpool’s board amid Salah’s contract interruption on Twitter: “I hope they’re watching,” after the striker played a leading role in the victory against Norwich.

Issa also posted a single point after Klopp signed Salah in last year’s game against Chelsea.

Salah was hinted at the Golden Ball earlier this year after being in excellent form at both the club and the countryside.

And with 19 Premier League goals absolutely dwarfed by the next best of the 12, a huge advantage the club will desperately want to keep.

Liverpool will play against Brighton on Saturday to keep up the pressure on Manchester City for their Premier League title.

With a win on the south coast, they can get to the people of Pep Guardiola within three points.
