The Spaniard has guided the Gunners to the top of the Premier League but will be without the services of star striker Gabriel Jesus for the next few months after the Brazilian striker underwent knee surgery during the World Cup.
Already, a number of names have been linked with a big money move to Arsenal to replace the former Manchester City man: including Shakhtar Donetsk forward Mykhaylo Mudryk and Barcelona striker Ferran Torres.

Shakhtar drops Mudryk’s hint during Edu’s journey
Edu has reportedly flown to Poland in an attempt to finalize a deal for Mykhaylo Mudryk after the Gunners made a third bid for the Ukraine winger on Friday.
The Gunners have been trying to reach an agreement with Shakhtar for weeks to try and land Mudryk, who is set to be Arsenal’s main target ahead of the January transfer window.
After rejecting two offers, it emerged on Friday that the two sides were close to finalizing a deal for Mudryk. And a new report from Sport Arena claims that Edu has now left Warsaw, where Shakhtar’s management is currently based, in a bid to finalize the structure of the deal.
However, as first reported by the Telegraph, Chelsea bosses have also flown to Poland to try to hijack Arsenal’s move for the Ukraine international.
Newcastle entered the Neves race
Newcastle have become the latest club to express interest in Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with the Portuguese playmaker over the last 12 months but have failed to solidify that interest with a formal offer. Now, The Daily Mail reports that Newcastle are ready to test Wolves’ resolve on the midfielder, who has 18 months remaining on his current contract and is unlikely to sign a new deal.

Arsenal youngster Arthur Okonkwo is in the process of going on loan to Austrian side Sturm Graz after impressing in League Two, according to The Athletic.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper has spent the first half of the season on loan at Crewe, where he kept 10 clean sheets and earned rave reviews.
A switch will make Okonkwo go up. Sturm Graz took part in the Europa League earlier this season but were knocked out at the group stage.
