The native of Oakville, Ont., was hurt in the first half of last week’s win over Ball State, which pushed Ohio’s record to 8-3.

The injury means Rourke will miss a likely Bowl game as well as a potential Mid-American Conference championship contest.

Ohio put out a statement on Rourke before its game Tuesday against Bowling Green.
