Offensive Player of the Week – Ole Miss midfielder Channing Foster, a senior from Murray, Ky., scored the 41st and 42nd goals of her career to move into third all-time at Ole Miss. Foster spearheaded a 2-0 week for Ole Miss, picking up the first win over South Carolina and the first win in Bryan-College Station for the Rebels since 2015. She assisted on Ole Miss’ game-winning goal over the No. 19 Gamecocks on Thursday, her fifth of the season. Foster then posted a brace in the Rebels’ 2-0 win at Texas A&M on Sunday, including a long-distance strike from 20 yards out to seal the victory.
Defensive Player of the Week – Ole Miss goalkeeper Ashley Orkus, a senior from Vestavia Hills, Ala., lead Ole Miss to a 2-0 week, picking up the first win over South Carolina and the first win at Texas A&M for the Rebels since 2015. She made three saves in the Rebels’ win over No. 19 South Carolina, recording an assist on the game-winning goal. Orkus made four saves against Texas A&M for her fourth clean sheet of the season, third in SEC play.
Freshman of the Week – Tennessee midfielder Taylor Huff, a freshman from Mansfield, Ohio, kept the pressure on at No. 19 South Carolina, accounting for all four of the Vols’ shots on goal and landing the game-winner from 25 yards out in the 87th minute to give UT a 1-0 victory.
