Super2 Series driver Declan Fraser crashes in practice

A terrifying crash at the Bathurst carnival forced practice two for the Super2 Series to be red-flagged and declared.

Declan Fraser emerged unscathed at the top of Mount Panorama, but not before his Nissan Altima lost its right-rear wheel nut at the Frog Hollow corner, causing his car to spin uncontrollably and career into a wall.

Fraser had begun to spin at close to 200km/h and the result was a car destroyed at the back.
